Reanimated like a sour-patch scalp on a plate of surgical steel, this fuzz issues forth from the early 70s. Rock Candy draws inspiration from the foundational tones of the rock pantheon, invoking legends like Gilmour and Montrose.

Brought out of its freakish hibernation by Iridium FX, Rock Candy is here to infuse your tone with black sucrose.

It’s critical you understand just how unapologetic this stomper is. We’re talking four stages of pure transistor gain that create an oft-worshipped wall of sound . Start at old-school fuzz and sweeten the gain into a distortion sugar-high.

Boost sustain for a raw, scooped sound. Swing the custom Mids knob down and crank the tone for a crystallized, mean lead.

Controls

Volume: The volume knob controls the overall output level of the pedal.

Sustain: The sustain knob controls the level of distortion for the pedal. Turning the knob clockwise will increase the level of distortion and change the frequency response of the pedal.

Tone: Turning the tone knob clockwise will produce a bright, raspier sound while turning it counter-clockwise will result in a dark, bass-heavy tone. The response of the tone knob is heavily affected by the setting of the sustain and mids knobs

Mids: Flipping the mids switch down will remove the mids knob from the circuit, recreating the classic early 70s muff sound. With the mids switch up, the mids knob will change the upper end of the frequency response. While it may seem counter-intuitive at first, turning the mids knob up with result in a more substantial mid-scoop while turning it down will flatten the midrange response. The impact of the mids knob will be less noticeable the more tone knob is turned counter-clockwise. The setting of the sustain knob will also greatly affect the function of the mids knob.

Operation

Experimentation is key with Rock Candy! It is able to produce a wide variety of tones from smooth, classic lead tones to raw extreme metal sounds.

The Rock Candy can be powered with a 9-Volt battery or an external power supply. The external power supply MUST be a 9V, center negative supply. Using another power supply may damage your pedal.
